Community-based partnerships are essential to the success of all of CPYV’s programs. We strive to work closely with educators, law enforcement, local officials, public health and other community-based organizations to provide local communities with the resources they need to achieve our mutual goals around safety and violence prevention.

In conjunction with coalitions of community-based partners, CPYV has launched successful city and statewide programs with partnerships including:
- New York City, in partnership with the City Council, Department of Education, NYPD and Mayor
- The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- The State of New Mexico Public Education Department
- The Commonwealth of Puerto Rico Police and Schools
- The City of Minneapolis Police Department, Schools, and Department of Health and Family Support.
- The Rhode Island Department of Health
- Puerto Rico Public Schools and Police Department
- Cumberland County, North Carolina
